I used to work at a recording studio.

One day I took a call from a gentleman hoping to utilize our facilities, taking specific interest in our vintage "New-min" mics, immediately bringing Seinfeld to mind.

I didn't correct him, but it's pronounced 'Noy-min'.

Rickenbacker, Krüger, Warwick, Behringer all German names (except maybe Warwick) and it annoys the living hell out of me to hear them mispronounced. I used to speak fluent German (lost a little but still know my way around).

I don't think even John Hall knows how to pronounce Rickenbacker.

Rickenbacker- not Rick-en-baker. No. Ricken-bock-er.
Warwick- For some reason I pronounce it Varick. Though it may just simply be Warwick.
Krüger- Kryu-ger
Behringer- Not Burinjer- Bayrin-gehr
