Oh, lordy-lord...

Is this the currently acceptable standard of instruction?

I think if I spend a week or two on it I can get it down.
I like the custom tuning.

I thought twice before I posted it, as he is such a young guy, but decided that as it is on You Tube anyway, comments are going to be made, one way or the other. I'm sure if/when he does become a pro, he'll look back on this in horror.

Exhibit A on what people who know theory think people who don't know theory play like.

Yes, sterotypes sometimes are true.

What is it with the I Saw Her Standing There tutorials? This one includes vocals. And another.

Either way, it's just terrible. Reminds me of me when I first started. =P My hands were so bad at doing what I told them!

Since you asked, no. "Is X" labels the person as X alone. "Has x" labels the person as dealing with it on top of whatever other attributes they may or may not have. "X" does not define the person in the latter option of describing a condition, and is a better way of describing it in todays PC world

Does it change the fact the person has autism (which I suspect is your 'moot point')? No. But thats actually irrelevant to the way it was chosen to be described.

Only because you asked. Back to todays viewing please

+1. We were all at this guy's playing level once. What amuses me more than the actual "lesson" itself is the young guy's naivety that he is good enough to teach others. Nothing like being young and confident.
