Thumbs down Protec contego with a Fender ADJBV

Hello,

I was on the verge to buy a Contego bag from Protec when I noticed the internal dimensions (46" 1/2. in length.

From my mesures, a Fender AM deluxe JB 5 strings 2012 won't feet into this case.

Could someone confirm or not ?

It would be strange to me that a company would make a case that won't feet J style instruments when those type of bass are so popular those day.

I have an older (2004) MIA deluxe J V. It fits just fine in my Contego. However, I have a bad taste from dealing with Protec. There is literally NO customer service at all.
If your item is under warranty, they replace, no fixing. If you're out of warranty, they totally don't want to hear from you.....at ALL!

Perhaps look at the Access level 3 or level 5 bags. Lots of storage and good protection. Especially the level 5.

Thanks for the reply. It seems that the older Deluxe had a smaller body that could explain your bass feets in the Contego.

That case is the best bank for the bucks I found at only 88€ VS the 170€ of a Mono for instance.

No recent Fender (2010-2012 Deluxe)owners have try the Contego ?

Thanks
