Quality Folding Music Stand

I'm looking for a quality folding music stand to hold these heavy music books I play from. I bought a $15 cheapo from Musician's Friend & it's okay, but it is soon going to break. Any suggestions?

I have this one:

It holds up to real books and whatnot no problem.

A company named Peake. Folds up and fits in a shoulder bag. I also put my light and folding guitar stand in the bag as well. Well made and easy use.

I gave up on the folding music stands. I got the heavy plate steel kind, cuz it always ends up having a pen, a pencil, a bottle of water, an earplug case, a tuner... all kinds of junk sitting on the ledge. Might as well invest in a strong and stable stand.

It collapses nicely, but in no ways how you expect the top to fold up flat. But its sturdiness and strength far outweighs the "inconvenience" of the big head.

I have one like Bryan's, but it can fold out to almost triple page width! I love it

Long ago, I used to be content with the flimsy stamped metal stands but once I started using one on a daily basis, I went looking for something a little more robust. I have three stands made by the company RatStands. The one that I use every day is the 'Scherzo' model, their lightest stand. It also holds up the Real Book and similar-sized texts with no problem. For me it came down to the fact that it's entirely collapsible and it fits neatly into one of the corners of my backpack. Its powder-coated finish reflects less light than even the matte black paint finishes so it is even more inconspicuous on stage.
