Quality Multi-Instrument Stands/Racks

Sign in to disble this ad
So, I've got a few single instrument stands and one double instrument stand and I've decided that it's time for a multi-instrument stand/rack because at this point I have too damned many stringed instruments leaning on the couch, laying against a chair, or even worse locked inside a case that takes valuable moments to open up.

I've currently got 3 basses, 2 electric guitars and an acoustic guitar. I don't need something to hold all of 'em but something that can at least hold most of 'em would be nice.

It doesn't need to be portable, it's not intended for gigging, but if a quality portable item is available I'm fine with that too.

My brief search through Musician's Friend didn't yield a lot of results...

This guy isn't too inspiring in terms of stability, but that's more or less what I had in mind, minimum 4 or 5 instruments lined up in a row, but hopefully with a little more substantial build.

This guy is overkill, plus I'm not sure the height is bass appropriate.

As is this guy. But wouldn't it be nice to be in a situation that justified it?

What do you use? What is the industry standard?

Thanks,

Justin

Warwick RockStand

These come in different sizes and configurations. I'm sporting the 7-instrument flat stand now, but am thinking of adding a 5-instrument corner stand.

I agree. I too own a Warwick Rockstand 7. I've got 5 basses, an electric guitar, and an acoustic guitar on there now. I'll probably be buying another one of these stands as i get more and more gear.

Thanks, that's along the lines of what I have in mind. I'd love to see some more options too.

Out of curiosity what's the advantage/disadvantage of the curved v. flat stand? Is it about looks or is it just for the best shape of the room?

I'll probably be going with the curved stand just to fit the room a little better.
