Question about getting sequenced tracks off Roland

Sign in to disble this ad
We've got a Roland X6 with a bunch of sequenced tracks that we play along with... the left channel goes to front of house, and the right channel goes to our in-ears (w/ click track). We want to not have to cart the keyboard around anymore, is it possible to pull those tracks off in mp3 format?

Thanks in advance

Your sequenced tracks are likely in MIDI data, mp3 is an audio format. You can easily convert the MIDI data to mp3, but I don't think you can isolate the click track totally. Stereo might help, but I would suspect that the click will bleed to the other channel. (click tracks are a real pain in that respect).

Well... what I was hoping is that if we get the mp3 in stereo, I can use a 1/8 jack out of the mp3 player, to the RCA cables.. just run one to front of house, and one to monitors. You think that would work?
