| question about pickguards....

im pretty new to bass, ive been playing for under a year, and im getting really sick of the looks of my bass. its a squire vintage modified jazz bass with a two-tone sunburst and a tort pickguard. ive been considering buying a new bass sometime in the near future, but i figure for now i can get a new pickguard to change the look of my bass.
my first question is, does anybody know of some good websites to find some nice pickguards?
and secondly, is it difficult to change pickguards? im lookin on my bass, and it seems pretty simple, but im not sure how to handle the pickups. i guess i could take it to GC, but id rather not spend the money to have them do it if i dont have to.
