Hey guys, I need a hardshell case for my Lakland 5502 and I'm wondering if anyone has some suggestions. Im looking to spend around $150, but it can be more/less. Theres no stores carrying Bass cases around here And I want to make sure I get a case that fits the 5 stringer. Thanks! |

It's basically a Fender style hard case. Not form fitting on the inside. Any other case that fits a fender bass should work for a Lakland. |

It fits better than lakland's case, and as it's not a form-fitting case, there's still space for strap, cables, tuner, toools, etc.

The bridge on the Lakland 5's is mounted an inch lower on the body to give it the longer scale so any bass case should fit fine. I got a Lakland gig bag with the 55-01 but I only use it when I need to take both of them.
