In the arena by Theodore Roosevelt. My 8th grade cultures teacher told us this quote and ever since then whenever I hear someone bicker about something like that I just think of this quote. I think we could all take a lesson especially as musicians from this.

I have one to add.

"Practice is what you do at home. Rehearsal is what you do with the band."

That implies that you do the grunt work and learn songs at home on your own time, and you tighten things up with the band at rehearsals.
