Amy Winehouse dead

It's a shame, really, but I am not surprised, except to say I'm amazed it took this long. Her decline was truly shocking. Hard to watch.

Frankly, in light of what happened in Norway yesterday, I can't say I really care. She was lost years ago. I'd trade a thousand of her for ONE of the kids lost on that island.

Drugs are bad, hmmkay?

Such a shame, I think many saw it coming, but damn, she needed help.

I liked a few of her tunes, didn't like the lifestyle she decided to follow.

Once again a great talent falls, from a bad addiction.

It's very sad when anyone succumbs to self destruction.....but a great talent? No.

I don't know if you've had a chance to check out some of the stuff she did before she got a bit messed up on drugs....

I think she did have talent, and I don't even like her music.

Quickie, you should know these things are subjective...I mean for instance, you think your threads are quality, yet others...

Wow, this is sad. The loss of life to drug use, especially among younger folks, is so disappointing. Hopefully others can learn from her bad choices. For me, these stories really drive home how much of an addiction drug use can be, I lose sight of that sometimes and go with the "just stop using drugs" comment.
