If you were in any indie band in Boston at any time during the last 25 or so years, you probably crossed paths with Billy at some point. A larger-than-life personality with a heart of gold and unkillable enthusiasm for the scene.

He'll be missed.

Absolutely one of the major Movers/Shakers in the Boston music scene. And not just rock either; he booked a ton of gigs for my avant-jazz band in the early 1990s.

"crossed paths" ? Heck, you probably crossed swords with him!

He was the proverbial whirlwind.
