The world has lost another great entertainer and Jazz musician. Cornell Dozier Wiley has passed away. He turned 75 on August 31st 2004. Here is a link that tells at least part of his story: http://home.att.net/~marvy42/Dozierboys/dozierboys.html
Cornell deserves a better eulogy than I can give. Those that knew him will sorely miss him, though our lives are far the richer for having known him. He saved my life, a debt I never have and never will be able to repay. Him being gone feels surreal.
