Just found out this morning that Dan Peek has passed away. He was only 60 years of age. What a bummer. I will be putting on all my America albums today. Folk will never be the same.

Got to work with Dewey and Gerry at show last year while they were on tour, really nice guys. I was running lights.

Cool, man. I would have hoped, by the music they play, that they would be really good guys.

I remember listening to that number while driving across Snoqualmie Pass in the dead of winter in my 1966 GTO. R.I.P.

Love the bass line and bass tone in that song. America made some of my all-time favorite travelin' music. RIP, Mr. Peek.
