Not a bassist, but maybe responsible for more bass players picking up the bass then just about anyone. How many of us got our first real introduction to many bands live through his great show "Rock Concert." Also, many don't remember he was the driving force behind the "Brill Building Writers".

R.I.P.- My first exposure to some great bands came from his shows when I was a kid (pre-MTV, of course).

That Was where I got exposed to some great bands for the first time UFO, Kansas,Thin Lizzy So many late night memories as a kid. RIP Don

Yeah he was the man back then he brought some really great band performances into your living room every week. R.I.P Don K. and thanks for bringing the music to us all.
