R.I.P Lux Interior 10/21/46-2/04/09

Always LOVED The Cramps, but didn't have that many chances to see them until 2002 when I moved to Los Angeles, where they lived (right by the Glendale cemetary) and played several times a year. Their Halloween shows were a great tradition in Hollywood. Since 2002 I managed to see them in a few other states as well, and their shows were ALWAYS a rompin', rollickin', sexy fun time. I would have LOVED to see them during the Candy DelMar on bass years, or even further back with original lead guitarist Bryan Gregory. What a great catalog of music!

I just couldn't let the day go by without some kind of acknowledgment to their sheer awesomeness and influence in several genres. Any other big fans here? R.I.P Lux

I saw them a bunch of times. One of the best live acts I've seen. BTW, Lux and Poison Ivy were married for like 40 years. How often do you hear that? Especially in rock. What I remember most about Bryan Gregory is that he used to spit his cigarettes at the audience.

Always loved The Cramps, too. They also rank as perhaps the loudest thing I've ever experienced. I still listen to them all the time.

I saw them in NYC Roseland Ballroom maybe around 92. Reverend Horton Heat opened up for them & I had never heard them before, I was blown away by them & the bass player was standing on his standup bass, flipping it around, had never seen that at a rock show before. Lux was great, drinking a bottle of wine then pouring it down his spandex pants, slinking & prowling around in pink pumps. That was still my favorite show of all time. I proudly wear the Cramps trucker cap I bought that nite all the time.

Always a huge fan. I got to see them live a few times, and was never let down. They just delivered and delivered the heavy dirty power.

Exar's business is on hold for now. I will still help previous customers.
