Rack Case Question

My guitarist's rack case broke. He's looking for a new one. But his gear is crazy heavy. I want him to get something light but strong. He had an SKB but it broke so those are out. We all carry gear so I don't want to be stuck with something super heavy. What do you guys suggest?

our PA sits in an 8U SKB case, and it seems robust enough.. tho my rack is a Gator, and i've had no problems with it.. I'd recommend Gator - although ultimately, like most things, they're not completely indestructible

the PA rack is insanely heavy... and in future i'd be tempted to get several 2 or 3U cases, stack em & patch em together
