Radio interview

Good interview JAUQO. Answers a lot of questions about the mechanics of getting the right pickups for that low sound.
Also good of you to credit the people that inspired you to go that route.
Harmolodics baby !

Interesting chat, Jauqo, thanks for the link. Interviewer sounds like a very laidback kind of guy - maybe it was, as he said, a bit early (or late)! I think you lost him a little, but any bass players listening will have understood and picked up on what you're doing. Nice work.

BTW, I don't think you mentioned the scale length on that low C# bass, is it close to standard 34 or 35 inch, or longer? What's the gauge on that bottom string?

Thanks for checking it out but I couldn't get to deep on a lot of things because of time and that just not being the total format to discuss just Bass only,I tried to get aspects of the Bass that I thought were a little more needed from the basic level of the concept overall during the interview.the scale length on my fretless Adler is 34" and the Low C# string gauge is .195.

It's good to know that you just can't convert any old j bass
to that tuning with out having the pickups specifically "tuned"
to handle those low HZ.

Low C#=.195! Wow. Heavy stuff, in every sense. How's the tension/neck relief/replacement cost?
