For one show at least. http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070122/music_nm/rage_dc_1
I'm kinda (VERY) stoked. I wish I didn't live on the east coast. I'd love to see them live.

P.S. Hope you have 250 bucks if you want to see them. I know it's a 3 day fest, but that's not to hot.

Are you serious? 250 bucks...
The reason ticket prices are getting so incredibly high is because people are willing to pay that much. When bands like U2 or Paul McCartney tour, and they say "Give us 150 dollars" and you say "OK" they win. I say Rage Against ****** ticket prices.

To be clear, it's $250 for a 3 day pass to the Coachella festival. Or you could buy a ticket for one or two days for less. Click here to see the lineup for each of the three days. If you dig a large percentage of the bands, then $250 isn't really that much for three days of live music. |

I've just been a bit steamed about ticket prices lately. Especially by bands who have stripped down stage shows, nothing that elaborate. My friend is taking his girlfriend to see Justin Timberlake, and he's going to have to drop around 55 bucks a pop just to watch some douchebag bring sexy back.

Coachella's lineup is always hit and miss with me so while there's a few bands I'd really like to see each day, there aren't enough to where I feel I have to buy tickets. In fact, the day where I like the most artists is Friday where the headliner (Bjork) doesn't interest me at all.
The Comedians of Comedy (Patton Oswald, Brian Posehn etc) interest me a lot more.
So I'll have to give it some thought. Would be nice to see Rage live one more time though. . . |

Jesus and Mary Chain, Arctic Monkeys, We Are Scientists day 1
RHCP, Arcade Fire, Decemberists, Ghostface Killah day 2
Rage, the Roots, Against Me! day 3...
and i'm interested in checking out a lot of the other bands... and I wouldn't need a place to sleep, because sleep cannot occur in that situation if i were there. |

I went last year for one day and it was fun, since I never got to see Rage back in the day I suppose I should give this a shot. Getting into the show is the worst part, the 5 mile journey from the freeway took 2 hours last year. Ugh. Quote: |
