RANT - Ever have one of those days you wonder what you're doing?

Ever have one of those days that you think you're just fooling yourself that you can actually play and sing?

I'm at rehearsal today and I couldn't carry a tune in a wheelbarrow (not like I ever could) and my playing is just a fumble-fingered mess and you just think wow I'm just wasting my bandmate's time they should go get someone that actually has talent.

Really off-putting too when you haven't earned a paycheck in almost 3 months and are sleeping on someone's floor and lucky to have Ramen and owe several friends money just to keep your cell phone turned on.

Sorry about the rant just having a rough time lately.

Sounds like you’re having a bad day. So sorry.

As for singing and playing, I’ve got stories that would make you feel much better, haha…

I’ll share in a few if I get a chance, but hey, I feel where you’re coming from if that helps any.

You're not alone, my friend. Had my share of "sleeping in the cold while being hungry" in my past. Stay strong.

As far as playing.....I've lost track of how many times where I had to struggle to find the bass part I was looking for. Then the next day those parts seem to fall in my lap with no effort!

It all balances out.

Hey thanx for the support guys really appreciate it.

Quick update: looks like the person we were counting on to finance some new gear for us can't commit the money anymore so we don't even have enough equipment to play a gig. When the band spilt the others got most of the gear and basically left us with a cheap PA and no mics, cables or outboard gear. Was really counting on that so we could play some local shows and now I don't what we're gonna do in the short term.

We still have our connection for the casino out west we played at a lot this year but I'm real hesitant to bring the new female singer whose really never been in a band and throw her to the wolves in a full time situation. Also we would need to learn a bunch more songs that are more dance-pop stuff and that requires sequences which we have no way to make or buy.

Man I know life isn't supposed to be easy but can it at least meet me half way?
