I used to have a Norway rat when I was a kid. Much cooler than those wussy gerbils and hamsters!

When this album first came out - I went to see the Stranglers play it live - amazing experience! - but I bought a T-Shirt at the gig, which was a favourite for a while - which had a rat on it like the cover you mention and it was in a sort of velvet/fuzzy felt material - it was great as people would want to touch it - even girls...

I guess it's available on CD, uh? I'll have to look for it. There were two or three songs on the album that I'd played on my weekly late-night radio show on WWUH in the early 80s. I can't remember off the top of my head what they were.

"Peaches" and "(Get a) Grip (on Yourself)" would be my guesses.
