Recommend Me a Beginner Electric Piano
Hey all! I'm in the market for an electric piano! I want something thats relatively cheap but still a solid instrument and 88 keys is pretty much a must. I have some old Casio right now... I think thats the brand, the model is a CTK700. Anyways, I want to do some more piano work and need some more low end as well as piano keys that are weighted or hammered... whatever the term is that they use... as opposed to what I have which are basically buttons with absolutely no dynamic capabilities. My budget is about 300£ (I'm in the UK) but I can go higher if need be (500£ can be my upper-limit, lets say).
Any and all suggestions will be welcome. Thanks!
I just got done researching and shopping digital pianos. The Casio Privia PX-150 is pretty nice and is at the lower end of your price range (at least here in the US). The Privia PX-350 is at the upper limit of your range and is also pretty nice for the money.
There are a couple of Yamahas in that range but I thought the Casios were better instruments.
Piano World forums; very much like TB, but for the 88's...
I have a Technics digital piano. My friends who come over to play love it.
