So i'm guessing you've all heard of gibson's announcement for their new "revolutionary" firebird x

anyway on to my point I think this thing is silly and would never buy it or anything like it. However it got me thinking. Nobody, at least to my knowledge has made something like this for bass. Don't you think maybe something like this would be a little bit more popular on bass. Just considering how so many basses already have active preamps, i mean it would be one step farther on that. so what are your thoughts?
