Releasing a song per week in 2010 - my NY resolution.

Never had a New Year's resolution before, but this year I'll give it a go.

Gonna release a 'new' tune a week in 2010.

Anyone wanna help?

I put 'new' in quotes because I may use found material from jams in years gone by, new live versions of old tunes, or even old version of live tunes I haven't shared with anyone before, covers, boots from shows I attend (with permission of course), gig or rehearsal clips from whatever bands I end up in this year (2 new ones already) ... whatever it takes to keep it going.

With that in mind, any collaborative ideas I'm keen to hear. Will need help, but for now my talented wife is onboard as are my musical friends.

Any rappers out there? I can send beats. Mash-up artists? Photographers or videographers? Loopers? Shredders?

I figure it belongs in Misc because this is about the process and progress, more so the recordings. However comments on whatever aspect of this are welcome. Anyone care to attempt their own version of this?

I'm going to try for some form of video for all of them as well, though in a lot of cases I'll need to resort to a 'video' of just still photos if I can figure out how to do that. Whatever gets it done. So cool random videos you've shot or found are also suitable for collaboration should that interest anyone.

Here's the first installment : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSULIOBRiSg

I liked it. Quite an ambitious project you got here. Subscribed, even if just for the hilarity.

So far, so good. I've gotten help from some locals and some good results both new and old - http://www.youtube.com/user/SmashBass#p/u/0/cr0a_f-x6XI
