Awesome show

REM is freaken good... Especially at Greek theater.
Anyone else going to see that? Should, really.

First time i saw modest mouse too, they are pretty damn good. Nationals were good too.

One thing though, Does Mike Mills usually play with pick or fingers. I really never paid attention, but then i noticed him playing with fingers and thought his sound changed from song before. Wasn't really sure, but it sounded very good.

Ohhh why did you have to make this thread?!?!?!

I DESPERATLY want to see this show when it comes to raleigh, but I dont have the scratch to get tickets and pay for gas. I have been a huge Modest Mouse fan since I first heard them at art school 5 years ago. And I love The National. And I have no qualms with REM oh god how I wish I could go to this show...

how was Modest Mouse? Ive heard stories of them doing 20 minute versions of I Came As A Rat.....

They were very good live. I actually liked them live more so then CD. Wasn't a huge fan of their cds, I liked em but not enough to listen to them a lot. However them live changed my opinion. Pretty damn good. I don't think they did anything very long, REM took up most of the shows time, but they had a good set.

As far as going, dude, get like 5 people who want to see em, cram em all in the car, gas split 5 ways is way cheaper.

Are you talking about the National? (not plural)

if so, they are pretty much one of my favorite bands right now. Boxer is a masterpiece.

I love that record, espcially because when Im alone in my room singing along, I dont have to sign above my range to match the vocals
