Visiting from the dark side, so sorry if this sounds a little strange. Lately I've been playing a Rob Allen Mouse on a particular gig, and I love the bass. Problem is, I'm a seated player (long story, not worth rehashing), and the bass balances at the wrong angle for my comfort when it rests on my leg. Is there such a thing as a movable leg rest that clamps onto the body of the bass in a non-destructive way that would let me position the bass where it feels more natural?
(Mods, if this should be in "Basses", my apologies - I was on the fence) |

Have you tried holding it like a classical guitar? Sure, you look like kind of a goon, but it can be more comfortable. Like these 2 guys, minus the foot stand

I suppose I could always try to make one, but i was just wondering if there was anything like that already available. |
