The latest Rolling Stone has an article on Roky. Sounds like he's back! No longer needing drugs for his psychological problems, he just played in NY, and will be touring in Europe! According to the article, at the age of 59, he still sounds real good! Doing some of the 13th Floor Elevators tunes, releasing recordings, the whole enchilada. Best of all, the article says that his brother Sumner has been taking care of him the last few years, and deserves a good bit of credit for Roky's recovery. Good job, Sumner, thank you! Family rocks!
Everybody go see Roky if he comes around nearby. He's a classic!
