I just got one at GC. It was $149. It's a cross between a mono and an incase. I've owned both.
it is shaped like the mono and has the same kind of velvetty fur on the inside. It weighs about as much as the the mono which is nice but has more rigidity than the mono and has heavier duty outer covering a'la the incase.
It's pocket is a little bigger than the mono: it would easily hold a micro head and cables and stuff. It also has three small inner pockets for tuners and stuff.
The back pack straps all zip away completely.
Very nice high end bag that offers lots of storage (not as much as an igig) and great protection at a price that is less than mono and incase.

Would the case you are referring to be the 'Continental' series as shown here: http://www.rbcontinental.com/index.html

The point where the straps attach at their highest point look a little low to me. I'll have to check and see if they have any at my local GC.

The lack of a single shoulder strap, and the lack of a balanced place to fasten a single strap (should you decide to add one), make the carrying handle the only option for carrying this case around. With this case a little on the heavy and bulky side, compared to a standard gig bag, this case is a little cumbersome to carry around.
I just got back from a 2 night run to France (From Dallas TX) and this case was a bit much for all the walking, trains, planes, and ground transportation I had to deal with.
On the positive side, the case is more durable and lighter weight than a standard hard case. |

While the protection is great, I felt it lacked something. The front pocket was big, but definitely too tight for a LMII/III, IMO. It could barely fit my laptop and a Real Book, and that's without a cable. The pocket on the back was a great space-saver for straps.
My biggest complaint was the backpack straps. They were at the absolute bottom of the bag, lowest they could be. I am 6'2" and couldn't even use them unless I was walking from one outside place to another. Forget about using the straps on the subway.
I eventually gave it away with the Precision I had bought it for.
I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new iGiG, which I should have just gotten in the first place. I just thought I would give the RB a shot because of their great rep.
Anyone in the market for a high end gig bag, get an iGiG. Best bags on the market IMHO. The RB is definitely a close second, better than Incase or Mono for sure, protection is my reasoning mostly.
I should mention I don't officially endorse any bag, just my two cents.
Thanks!

My older Reunion Blues gig bags ride nice and low and the straps are insanely durable.

At their lowest, it clears my door but I'm just under 5'9.
I still like this bag mostly because the straps zip away without having to remove them.
If you need to cart more than a micro head I.e. A mb f1, a gk mb500, Eden wtx, etc. in you bag, then an igig or the backpack incase are the way to go.
I loved the mono and it did hang a little lower than the rb. This was cheaper, offers more protection and doesn't weigh much more. Fwiw, I don't use the back straps. I carry by the handle.
