About year and a half ago i was on holiday and I caught a music festival and I saw Santana and Massive attack. Santana were touring with dennis chambers he did a 17 minute drum solo and santana did crazy solo's in every song and played some class tunes. I played guitar that this point and didn't think I'd every reach that level and Dennis scared me away for drums. Then the bassist took a solo it sounded like mud and it was just a few medicore pentationic licks but he was torning with tonn of great musicians. I figured could do better and i got a cheap bass when I got home and practiced my ass off and it worked out pretty well. I seemed to be reverse inspired. Has this happened to anyone else.? |
