I'm listening to it now, and I like the feel of it (Better by half)

But I don't like the mix and sound of the bass. The technique and bassline sound good, but during the intro you're too loud and when the vocals kick in, your just a little too quiet. And something about your overall tone doesn't seem right.

I just read that wasn't you playing, so this is all stuff I'm sure you can do better

Keep up the good work.

Ehhh...it's OK. Not to my taste really. The recording sounds a bit
"home made" which is fine for a demo. It's definitely a bit heavy on the reverb! I like the first song better than the second, although the intro in the first song is way too long. I lost interest before the vocals started. The singer, as Randy Jackson would put it, is a bit "pitchy" in spots. I can see where it may be a fun project, but honestly Heath, from some of the other stuff you've posted of your previous bands, it doesn't seem like a good fit for you. Obviously I don't know you, so I could be wrong, but aren't you more of a funk/slap type of guy? Anyway, as long as you are having fun, THAT is the most important thing.

It's a bit repetitive, but other than that pretty good

oh its a good fit, the stuff ive cowritten is better...but yeah, im rerecording the bass parts soon, it was recorded by our keys player on a peavey foundation with 10 year old strings

i am a bit of a funk guy and do love my slap, but ive cut back alot on the slap now ive started to listen to more soul/neo soul...
