Anybody ever heard of this guy? My friend's dad used to manage him. He has the talent to be famous in my opinion, but he refuses to get off of Beale Street.
YEAH! An amazing talent. I saw him last summer on Beale Street and could not stop talking about him to people. He really keeps the Hill Country Blues alive. He learned from the greats of the genre (R.L. Burnside and Junior Kimbrough). I am actually going to see him this weekend again. His musicianship is amazing. I could go on forever about him . I think it is really cool that he still plays on the Beale after he has become somewhat well know. He has played alot of blues festivals all over the world. He was opening act for The Killers actually a few years ago.
The guitar is called a Lowbow and Richard designed it but a friend of his played it. It has like two bass strings and 3 guitar strings , but when I saw him it was down to one bass string and 2 guitar strings.
