First of all, it's a strat--not a tele.

Second, it's a custom color from 1963. It's probably worth about $30k-$40k. So, $99,000 is probably out of the question, but it's certainly worth quite a bit to the right person.

I'm not entirely sure why it was "funny" enough to start a thread.....

Its not a custom color, I beleive. Its definately not the color he said it is. Fender made a salmon color but not until the 80s, and its not that color. Thats fiesta red I believe. It is a very expensive pricey guitar, but a 57 in good shape wouldnt fetch a million, def not a 63.
