Rings

Heya,

I know alot of us play with rings especially on your neck hand, but i was wonder how it affects the neck?

Does it or has it damaged your neck in any way?

Just curious!

Nope, no damage here. My ring isn't very ostentatious though, it's pretty small. The only time it starts getting in the way is when I'm doing really fast runs on a short scale bass. That's why I don't use short scales anymore.

I wear a wedding ring and it never touches the neck.
I just checked it with my 6 string and my 4 string. No contact with the neck in all positions. That's just me though.

I wear a 4mm wedding band that has an ornate design with lots of sharp edges. No problems.

No problems here and I have small hands.

With my normal playing position, it doesn't even come close.
That's just me though.
