RIP Chuck Schuldiner

4 years ago, on december 13th, Chuck lost his fight against cancer. He'll always have a place in my heart as the composer of some of the greatest (metal)albums ever made.

We miss you man.

I know I miss him. An incredible guitarist, composer, and pioneer of the genre of death metal. He was able to evoke such emotion through his music. Just listen to the instrumental 'Voice of the Soul' for proof of that.

It's truly a shame that he was taken from us so early his influence will not soon be forgotten, nor will his music.

They created a genre... it's called Death metal for a reason.
