Rumors are that Roger Waters is working on touring The Wall in 2010-2011.
Based on how loud the Waters DSOTM concert was, I think I'm gonna need some expensive earplugs before I go. |

Guessing that will be $120 ticket, easy. JMO but I don't think in today's economy a lot of people are gonna drop that kind of scratch on something like this.

now, i can say i missed Woodstock and not bum too hard, because that was in 1969. but i was born in 1980. so it's like...aww, come on. i was a zygote/infant, which is pretty much why i couldn't catch The Wall at Nassau in '80. |

It's Roger Waters and a bunch of players he's hired. Pink Floyd effectively "retired" quite a whille ago and one of the original members (Rick Wright) has died.
Pink Floyd tribute band fronted by insufferable D-Bag making another shameless money grab with huge ticket prices... no thanks. |

I meant the members that were in Floyd when The Wall was released. |

Sure it would be nice to have Gilmour on the tour, but you can't always get what you want. Where would you put it?
I agree it is a bit douchey for "classic" bands to charge the prices they do, but it does disprove the notion that there's no money to be made in the music business anymore. |

There's a pointer somewhere in Finnbass.com to an interview with Gilmour confirming this.
