I was thinking of doing with a RondoMusic guitar what most TBers do with their basses– buy one, throw in some new pups and tada- a solid instrument.
Any idea of the quality? Has anyone done simliar? Thanks in advance!
Here's the models I'm considering:
Agile Valkyrie III BK
SX SJM-2 CAR (Because I can't get enough of J Mascis or Kevin Shields' tremolo abuse) |

I'd stick to Agile guitars if you're really interested in one.
They've got a fretless Les Paul up there right now for only 370.

Next question- if I do indeed purchase that Agile, would some SG humbuckers fit it? Like say, these? http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...kup?sku=306012
Or other nice custom add-ons? |

Another manufacturer to look at is Dillion Canada. http://www.jsdguitarshack.com/dillio...c_guitars.html
Thre are some really good deals on Ebay for Dillion Canada guitars. Avoid the Dillion USA models though as they are usually made out of the wrong woods. FWIW, I like my Dillion LP Jr. more than my real Gibson USA SG. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
