Hey guys,
I was wondering if I could get a little help on my musicology paper
Basically we are suppose to select an artist or a group that has been around for over 25 years and write about why we believe they should be inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. Now I`m sure quite a number of people here believe that the HoF is total rubbish and I`d agree with you. That said, it`s what I have to write about.
Anyways, I`ve decided to write about Rush and why I think they should be inducted. That said, I need some hard sources to back up my claims - this is where you guys come in. I was wondering if any of you guys with old Rolling Stone or Kerrang magazines could do a quick run through of them to see if you can find any articles on Rush - specifically articles that may show/explain their influence on modern bands, individual players, etc... or articles that perhaps explain achievements they have reached that only a few other bands have with record sales, crowd sizes, etc...
I normally wouldn`t ask for help on something like this, but Google has proven to not be a huge help, and I figured if there was ever a place that had experts on Rush this would be it
I`m gonna go pick apart their wikipedia page now and see if I can trace any of those facts back to the original sources.
