The hall of fame, and the Grammys are a lot like the homecoming court. A bunch of douchbags voting on which other douchbags belong.

I'd really rather have sold a boatload of albums.

On Beyonce... all her Grammy's were paid for (under the table). Of course I am speculating (or am I?).

Look at Grammy history, they seem to have a knack for spotting the flavor of the month. Look how many winners are absolutely huge at the point in time they win, but then disappear completely soon after (Christopher Cross anyone?).

I also noticed that lately they have attempted to make up for this by giving "career" Grammys.

Not fair. He was quite talented. His problem was getting popular at the same time as video...and he's not the most exciting thing upon which to look. The emphasis on video, appearance and show has left many truly talented artists out of sight - and out of mind. It's unfortunate.

Christopher Cross is a vastly underrated musician. This guy is a great vocalist, guitarist, producer, etc. check him out live and you'll be blown away.

Im sure they feel the same.
What will the Rush fans have to complain about now? Half the new threads on TB will disappear, oh no.

Who cares - the RARHOF is a farce. Case in point: Beatles in w/ Paul McCartney, Wings in, with Paul McCartney, Paul McCartney in w/ Paul McCartney. Does PM really need to be inducted three times?

Seem to have brought out the Christopher Cross love

Hey, I'm not dissing the dude.... but he was kinda of forgotten about, one must admit.

People dismiss that stuff as being kind of terminally unhip, but it was well written, well recorded and well produced. Unlike almost everything that is popular now.
