| | LICENSED TO KILL - any song I play! | | | | | I was kind of expecting a Rush or Neil Young.
Thanks for the link. Perhaps the Closing Ceremonies.

How could anyone percieve a Rush performance as being disrespectful to the late Georgian luger? If there's any Canadian act that deserved to be there, it was Rush. Let's hope the "powers that be" let them play at the Closing Ceremonies. After being disrespected like that, it wouldn't surprise me if they simply stay away!

(Rush fans should get what I mean )

Now of course, there is the possibility that the band scrapped the performance themselves out of respect, and it wasn't an organizer decision, but that's just more Rush fan speculation!

Little did I know they were supposed to be there. Hopefully they will be at the closing ceremonies. |

I'm just ribbing here, I'm a Rush fan too ( I actually have a 2112 tattoo!). The fact is, Rush is not mainstream. While 40mil albums sounds impressive, it's less sales than UB40, Roxette, and Anne Murray! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of..._music_artists
