Did anybody watch it last night on VH1?
Freaking awesome.
The intro movie was hilarious. Alex warning Ged not to 'touch his sausage' and Neil as the Irish cop...classic!
Best part?
The funk/disco version of Spirit of Radio. I'm gonna have to work that into the set somehow

I came in "Subdivsions" then the scene with Ged as the professor and telling the girls to quit "Moving Pitchers" of beer around. Then they went into Tom Saywer and showed Monkeys jammin'
Looking forward to watching the whole show later.

I always want to get a Geddy jazz (and yes, I know there's more to his sound than the jazz but...) after I watch RUSH shows. Such a great sound.
I thought Geddy was very convincing in his roll. Their "movies" are getting better and better. |

I would love to see it again because when I saw them it was outside in July and still sunny. Couldn't see the screen very well to fully enjoy the video!
I'm not finding it listed here on VH1 regular or classic on Time Warner!

Got on the rowing machine and decided to check VH1 before defaulting to loud Zep with my workout and.....bonus! I loved the vid and performance, but I must say that I'll never pay to see a stadium show live again. The sound was mediocre (as far as I could tell through my home theatre rig-I guess it was good considering the venue) and much of the crowd is barely in the same zip code as the band. I guess the party is fun, but I prefer the small venue experience and prefer to catch these stadium gigs on DVD. The last stadium concert I saw was an early 80s quadruple bill at Olympic Stadium in Montreal: Peter Tosh, Stevie Ray V, Talking Heads and the Police.

When I saw them in Denver, the intro video cut off halfway through it.... so it's nice to see the whole thing.

The Rush shows have gotten way too big and screechy sounding for me anymore, but I still love them!
