just wanted to share this..

the E string on my defretted yamaha motion mbII bass finally gave up on me last night.. i was doing some fingerstyle funk near the bridge then SNAP! so i took all the strings out and i'm retiring my bass.. time to get a new one

Wait... you broke an E string and it means your bass is now retired and you are buying a new one.

That's a really good idea! And wanna know what else is a good idea... sending me retired basses.

I think I will use that with my wife. Honey! I broke a string, I have to run down to the music store to get another bass! Those darn strings! But hey, what can you do?
