The first time your band recorded a record, how many albums did you sell? Be it a lp/ep/or demo, I'm curious as to how many copies were sold, or are sold up to date.

And additional comments are very welcome too, my band is hoping to record a demo or something like it someday..and I'm just curious as to what your numbers have been.

The only band I was in only recorded one demo, and we just gave them away to people so...0.

I've yet to record, but the singer I play with recorded a demo that he usually just gives away. We're making plans to record a full album in Spring.

My band just put out an album and it's been selling decently at our shows, and we just got it released on CD Baby and iTunes, hopefully with the right exposure we can get some online hype going.

The first album I ever recorded on sold 11 copies. Twelve years and four bands later I'm selling 100+ per show. It's been a long damn road (that I am still traveling) but I wouldn't have done it any other way.

The only band I was in never left the jam space, but we did record 2 songs. Still a great experience.
