I need your help!
I decided to make a mix CD for my wife, including some of those classic rap/r&b/dance songs from the mid 80's to the mid 90's. I also added some of the, well, funnier ones from more recently, such as "Milkshake" from Kelis and "Get Busy" from Sean Paul. Only problem is I can't remember all the greats, or at least the names of the groups responsible for them.
So, pitch in and help me come up with a list of those indespensable "hits!"
So far, I've got these:
The two mentioned above
-Run DMC's Mary, Mary; My Adidas; You be Illin' and Run's House
-LL's I Need Love
-Ice, Ice baby
-Me So Horny
-Bust a Move
-Push It

What about "Groove is in the Heart" by Dee Light? Didn't that have Bootzilla on the bass?
Sugarhill Gang's "Rapper's Delight" is always a gooder, along with one of my personal favourites, "How Bizarre" by OMC.
This might be the most awesome mix tape ever!

| It's funny that you say that: I'm actually teaching Hammer's son how to play percussion this school year. I had no idea until sometime last summer that he'd been in my class before for other music as well.
