Hey all!
I'm doing a coffee shop gig with my singer and need to stretch our material out a bit. I'm looking at doing a short medley on the chord progression as "Wade in the Water"
Am / G / F / E (7)/ (ad nauseum...)
Same as "The cat came back." Anyone know of any others???
(BTW, I'm playing acoustic guitar for this one - so it's just her and I)

This is my first gig playing guitar (but I'm not a gui-tard!) solo with my (main band's) singer. A la Tuck and Patty style. We're playing everything from Kansas (of course it's Dust in the Wind) , some Jewel, KT Tunstall, and others including Wade in the Water which I want to stretch. As well, I'm thinking of a couple of bass and vocal only tunes: Black Coffee (a mix of Peggy Lee and KD Lang) and Straighten Up and Fly Right. Both digging out my "jazzer" stuff with a slow blues and then some faster Rythmn changes
BTW, I'm going to be running straight off their small board so no amp hauling!!! THAT KICKS @$$!!!!!!

Also, I think "Can't Stop Hurting Myself" by Greg Kihn is that progression...not sure if it's in that key though.
