At a recent audition, the band had a laptop that was plugged into the drummers headset for a click-track, and also sampled the keyboards through the PA for a song we were playing (which I was really glad about actually).
I didn't get a chance to ask what software they were running etc, so I guess I'm asking here.
Whats a decent laptop setup and good software for replacing instruments etc?
