Sang a couple of songs at band jam tonight!

Actually sang a couple of songs tonight while playing bass. I have wanted to try this for a long time, but wasn't sure I could pull it off. Just kind of let go and went for it tonight and it sounded decent. It may have something to do with starting to sing while playing guitar again too. Any tips for singing while playing bass?

Awesome! Singing and playing is big fun.
Advice - work on your singing... and you playing
Seriously - if a song comes easily, go for it. If it's hard to sing and play, break it down. There are a few songs where I have to really figure out how the vocal and bass lines relate - what happens on what beat. Most songs, though, it all just comes together.
Have fun!
