How many of you TB'ers play Saturday night gigs and come in after 2am then have to get back up to play at 8am for Sunday morning worship at church?

I did 2 years ago. It was worth it, but i made sure i had plenty of coffee/energy drinks. The church i played at [Christ United Methodist Church in Lafayette, IN] had 2 services. The first service [8:30 i think..] was the traditional service-we'd play maybe 2 tunes. That one was the hard one to play because i'd get extremely tired during the break between songs if i didn't get enough sleep.

I have more issues with having a 3-4AM night and going to class the next morning for an 8AM.

I've had it happen but not on a regular basis. It seems we play more Fridy nights than Saturday.

I'd just stay up. I've been known to stay up over 36 hours, drug free.

Not on a regular basis, but it does happen sometimes. I used to be able to take off early service (8:00) and just play late (10:30), but now I have to either play both services or none at all (feast or famine).

That used to happen a lot but I left the band I did that with. There was one nightclub gig where we didn't get home till about 4 or 5 am, no good at all.
The band I'm with now involves the guitarist from the praise team and we try to make our gigs Fri night if possible with the occasional Sat night (this coming Sat in fact). As the whole P.A needs set up and dismantled on a Sunday morning I really don't appreciate late gigs, just old and no energy anymore!
