Unbelievable show. First night of the tour and they sounded amazing. You people with tickets in other cities are in for a real treat. It was like a 2hr greatest hits concert. They also played 6 songs off the new album. Mike Inez played his gray-burst Warwick, a cherry burst (either Warwick or Spector, hard to tell), and a gorgeous hollowbody Warwick.

| | | | I wanted to ask, is the lead singer as good as Layne Staley was? or we'll never hear a voice like him?

They have so much energy on stage, and they were getting the crowd into it which is always very fun. I loved Inez's bass tone in this concert.
PS: The concert was so good that we bought the new cd for ten dollars on the way out.
