Unbelievable show. First night of the tour and they sounded amazing. You people with tickets in other cities are in for a real treat. It was like a 2hr greatest hits concert. They also played 6 songs off the new album. Mike Inez played his gray-burst Warwick, a cherry burst (either Warwick or Spector, hard to tell), and a gorgeous hollowbody Warwick.

Nice! I love the new album and the weird thing is I wasn't a huge AIC fan back in the day.

Oh, wow. I haven't heard the new album yet, but, uh, I might have to pick myself up a ticket for this one.

I wanted to ask, is the lead singer as good as Layne Staley was? or we'll never hear a voice like him?

Duvall is good (and does one hell of a Staley impression), but like SiReZ said, you won't ever hear anyone like Layne again, IMO.

THe singer is great in his own right. definitely fits in the band without trying to be Layne.. BIG shoes to fill.. Props to both the old and new

Just saw them last night. Man, what a Show! It was probably the best concert i have seen yet. They have so much energy on stage, and they were getting the crowd into it which is always very fun. I loved Inez's bass tone in this concert.

PS: The concert was so good that we bought the new cd for ten dollars on the way out.

It's actually pretty close. I've seen them 8 times, 5 of which were with the new singer. I've seen STP about 10 times. I might as well wash their clothes for them.
