Thumbs up Saw Blind Melon live last night!

Last night Blind Melon played live for the first time in Argentina. The show was really great!
Brad Smith's bass tone was amazing. He played a natural finished fender jazz with a tortoise pickguard, and a p/j configuration, what I don't recall ever seeing in a jazz, I guess it must be custom made.
The band sounded amazing, they really rocked. And the new singer is good doing his thing!
The crowd was something which the band didn't seem so accostumed to see. Given it was their first time in Argentina, everybody was going really wild, and the band seemed surprised at times with the audience's reaction. They spent quite some time filming us with their handycams!

When the show started, it was kind of strange to see the band with their look almost exactly as they were 20 years ago, specially their drummer!

Anyway, I think it's a band worth seeing live. I suppose in the usa you get the chance of seeing this kind of band more often, playing in small venues such as were they played last night (maybe a bit over a thousand people fit in this place, I'm not really sure) but they don't make it that often down here. So it was a real treat.
If anybody is friends with Brad Smith tell him the show rocked! and to send me the footage!

Awesome man! Bummed that there are so few dates...and I missed the NY show which would've been the closest to Boston.
