Saw Miranda Lambert Last Night in Austin

Saw Miranda Lambert last night at Austin City Limits. My first time going there and it was a great show. I'm a fair weather country music fan but I enjoyed her hybrid country/rock style. The new ACL theater has a great personal vibe too. Her band performed a solid show. Her bassist, Aden Bubeck played couple basses that I didn't immediately recognize. One appeared similar to the Mike Dirnt P-bass, but was red with a pup cover. The second bass has a similar headstock but had a j-bass pup configuration with what appeared to be only a volume and tone knob (unless they were stacked). He also played standup bass for some songs. Great sound, great show. Recommend taking in a ML show if you get the opportunity, especially in a smaller venue if possible.

I'm jealous. She's probably my favorite female country singer, and Aden Bubeck is a great bassist with great stage presence, too.

All my singers really, really hate "White Liar", though, and absolutely refuse to cover it.
