they were awesome!!
My (guitarist) friend wanted to see Peter Lindgren so we stood on the left side, so I didnt see the bassist that much.
, the bass sounded pretty good, it cut through the mix quite well. the only thing was, the mellow acoustic breaks wernt very mellow and definatly not very acoustic but it was still awesome.

they played all big songs, like grand conjuration, blackwater park, windowpane, delieverence.....etc and some others.

I saw them at rock city in nottingham, anyone else see them on this UK tour?

Opeth are an awesome live band, I saw them for the first time in September at Gigantour. Great show even though they only played five songs (Ghosts of Perdition, Godhead Lament, Windowpane, The Leper Affinity, and Deliverance).

Looking forward to seeing them again when they can play longer.

I am seeing them at the London Roundhouse tomorrow night. It will be the fourth time i have seen them and the second time this year. The first three times I saw them in Australia they never let me down and I like Paradise Lost's early stuff too. I am hoping it will be an unusual set as they are taping the London gig for a DVD...would love to hear Blackwater Park in there again...I love that song!

I just posted in your Paradise Lost thread as well
I saw on Monday in Glasgow. the mix was pretty dire, far too much bass and kick drum and no penetration from the guitars (although the bass did sound really good ) Still an awesome show though. Thats the 4th time I've seen them, and they never fail to impress. I think they're the only band I've ever seen where there's no "Oh, I want them to play new stuff/old stuff/heavy stuff/fast stuff/whatever", cos all their tunes are equally astonishing.

In summary, one of the greatest bands in the world. Ever.

Maybe that was intentional. Their albums tend towards the boomy side too.
